Case Study - Alky Unit

A Southern California refiner's Alky Unit had not been cleaned by FINFOAM in the past, but had been cleaned by a competitor with marginal results. FINFOAM, having cleaned many others units in the plant regularly was contracted. With over 100 fans in the unit the job took about 12 days. Average results showed a 35 degree increase in delta T.. Total cost of the job was $85K inclusive and the payback was before the job was completed.
